Ajah is one of the popular areas in Lagos state, Nigeria. It is among the top areas in the Lagos Island half of the state. Ajah is part of the areas under the Eti-Osa local government area of Lagos state and it is situated along the Lekki axis.
This part of Lagos is in close proximity with Lekki and about 30 to 40 minutes’ drive to Victoria Island. Like most places on the Island, Ajah is surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean. Ajah, unlike its neighbouring areas, is relatively cheap and often regarded as one of the border towns of Lagos. It is considered one of the best places to start a family.

Gradually, people began to move into the area as they noticed development. It has not looked back since, as it continues to grow.
The construction of the ongoing Lekki Free Trade Zone (LFTZ) is another reason why Ajah has become the center of attraction.
Another notable achievement in Ajah is the recently completed flyover bridge. Before then, the area is considered one of the worst places to be especially at peak hours. This was due to the heavy hold-ups. It has, however, improved since the bridge was commissioned.
